Sport Relief and other goodies!

So the decision has been made on our Sport Relief event. The companies who wish to participate shall form a team; the cost to enter will be £10. Then we shall have an “Olympics” competition using the Mario & Sonic Game on the Wii. Most of the details shall be worked out nearer the time; however the premise will be based on knockout stages so you will have to compete more than once. It should be a good laugh, and hopefully as the use of google is not required Grafters might not win this one ;)

Aside from that we are still offering the £25 Marks & Spencer’s voucher to any one who recommends a new virtual client to us on the premise that they join for a minimum of 6 months. The flexibility we can offer to potential clients is very reassuring especially as an established number would not need to change.

 Apologies for my lack of commitment to the blog – it has subsequently been remedied now the Christmas rush is over!

What a lot of potential clients don’t realise is that you can set up a telephone answering service using your current business number? At Centrum we can answer calls on behalf of your company using your existing number therefore your customers/clients are never affected or most importantly none the wiser. It works very simply by setting up a divert on your phone which we can talk you through and then we can forward any messages to you by text/email instantly. This is a key area we are focusing on over the next 12 months. We want to build the awareness especially to smaller businesses on how we can be of benefit to them using this service. If you’re a ‘one man band’ it can prove a tricky balance to ensure you’re answering all the calls if you’re on a job. Aside from that Sport Relief opinions required on how the front of house team can make suitable fools of themselves. We are torn between having an exercise bike in reception and doing a ‘virtual’ cycle from Glasgow to London, or we have the option to bring in the Wii and create a Olympics style competition, alternatively (and my favourite) is to have Space Hopper races… but I think I am just justifying a purchase of a Space Hopper in this instance!
